Chapter Sixty-One

Raphael stayed for dinner. 

Actually, he was probably too shy to even decline the invitation, especially when it was Ngel himself who invited for him to stay.

The guy just stayed in the living room while Ngel cooked sinigang na baboy. She still hadn’t asked where he had been because the atmosphere was way too awkward for her to even bring that up. 

It was way too awkward for Timothee to handle so she excused herself to go inside her room, forcing her to pick up her phone that had long been sitting at the foot of her bed. 

She hadn’t turned on the wifi yet so she still hadn’t seen the notifications that she had been ignoring. However, it was indeed true that Raphael had called her a few times, probably to tell her that he would come to visit. She was surprised that he even had time to do so, considering his schedule.
