Chapter Sixty

It was already six hours since the management had sent her a cue to publish the post both on her Twitter account and Facebook page, but Timothee had still yet to check her notifications. In fact, her cellphone had already been sitting at the foot of her bed for almost six hours already, cold and untouched, heavy with the pressure of the situation.

She knew that any moment from now, she would need to face them eventually. She really just wanted to cherish the last moments of her peace. After all, even when she had already spoken about the truth, she knew that not everyone would ever accept it just yet. Some would even think that she hadn’t suffered enough yet, even when they didn’t know even the surface of her suffering.

She let out a sigh before standing to get herself a glass of water. She paused the movie that she was watching to kill time before heading to the kitchen.
