Lillian's perspective.

How could such a thing happen? I had been taking the pills Ismail handed me every time. Had he unknowingly bought counterfeit pills? All kinds of thoughts charged through my head.

"You should be happy," Rebecca said with a smile, nudging my temple with her finger, "You are now a pregnant lady. The floor is so cold. Up you get!"
