I arrived at the store five minutes before my shift. It’s only me, Janina; the other cashier, and the security guard. I wanted to close my eyes and drift into slumber. I wish I could meet my doppelganger and take over my work. Pft, that’s an insane thought.

“Sleepy?” I aksed Janina when I saw her eyelids falling down. She chuckled and shook her head.

“Kind of. My new work is stressing me, honestly.”

“Is that a heavy workload? You should have quit. There are still many jobs out there,” I said.

I went to a table and clean the mess the customer left.
