That night, Thomas and his friends held a mini celebration. I didn’t recognize their faces because it’s all foreign to me.

He summoned me to stay in my room, and that I should not get out of there. I obeyed his order with pleasure because I don’t want to go downstairs and meet his friends anyways.

However, they were too loud. I couldn’t sleep. My eyes feel heavy, still, I couldn’t sleep in the comfort of my bed. The door flew open, and I smelled Thomas’s signature perfume and the heat of his gaze. He walks towards me in heavy footsteps before locking the door in my room.

I sat up straight and pull up my bedsheet, glaring at him. “What are you doing in my room?”

He smirked. “This is my house. Am I not allowed?”

“Yeah, but you’re supposed to sleep in your room, which, is next to mine.”
