James put down his camera and sighed. “Sir, can you turn the corner of your lips upward? Give us a smile, please.” James smiled at him and nodded at me. “Please help your husband have a comfortable position, Miss Margareth. Thank you.”

I heaved a deep sigh and looked at Thomas angrily. “I thought you wanted them to think we’re in love. What are you doing right now, Thomas?”

“What?” He acts as if he doesn’t know what I’m telling him. “I’m already in this fucking weird position, Margs. What do you want me to do?”

“Smile, Thomas! I just knew based on the crew’s faces that they were terrified to take a picture of you, because you look like you’re killing them in the head!”

“You’re right. I wanted to. They were looking at you way too intensely.” He murmured, but I could hear it because we were close to each other. “What the hell? Of course, they do! They’re photographers, Thomas! They’re going to analyze my stance, my position, and angle!”

“Shut up. I could hear their thoughts right now.”
