“Then how did everyone find out that I’m Annalise and not Rose Vergara?” I inquired.

Zeno cleared his throat and caressed my shoulder using his thumb. “Everything was planned. That woman is one of Thaddeus’ agents. We planned everything, especially when she heard about your breakup with your ex-boyfriend.”

His face puckered when he remembered that scene. I was devastated before because the man that I loved broke up with me and accused me of being busy with my career, but I ended up getting rejected after passing the novel to my editor.

All of them didn’t talk when Zeno answered the question and it hit my head hard when I realized that I cheated before without thinking.

I silently let out a curse and bit my lower lip. Probably that was the reason his face crumpled because I got into a relationship while I lost my memories because of the accident. But I swear that I had no clue that I was in a relationship with Zeno!
