Chapter 27: Memories

The harmonious symphony that’s coming from Ciara’s phone replenished the entire area. The luminous smile was written on their expressions until it turned out to be an amusing laugh.

They all look delighted while Elijah is talking, sharing experiences in his life, but Kazimir keeps his face straight. Happiness isn’t striking on his face, but I can see his eyes glisten even if he’s a little distant from me.

We all had a wonderful dinner. It’s vibrant, and it was all thanks to them because they visited us here. However, after learning what our problem is, I can’t help but feel distressed. Everyone was trying to live as they could even if they were chased by death.
