Chapter 23: The other Amelia

Arthur was confused as to the sudden change in Amelia's demeanor. She was fine a moment ago, so what happened to her?

“I’m sorry for the trouble I caused you,” Amelia apologized instead of answering Arthurs question.

And after she apologized, tears started to drop from her eyes.

Arthur, confused at the sudden turn of events, collected the phone from her as it seemed that was the cause of her tears.

He then read what had caused her to cry. It was an article containing a picture of him and Amelia at the restaurant.

The article was talking about him finally finding a woman and this was shocking because he had never been seen with a woman.

There was nothing special about the article and so he wondered why this would make Amelia cry. He found his answer, when he read further down.

The person who wrote the article had done an extensive research on Amelia as they stated that Amelia was regarded as a cursed child and she was an outcast where she came from

The person further accused her of d
