“What?!” Reese exclaimed, her lashes fluttering in perplexity. The last thing she wanted was to become a topic of discussion between the employees in the company.

Chloe turned to look at her. “What? You didn’t expect your little secret to be let out of the bag? You little slut.”

Reese drew in a sharp breath, refusing to get provoked by Axel’s ex.

Chloe waited for her response for a few seconds and when she didn’t get any, she returned her gaze to Axel. “Why are you fucking a slut Axel?”

Axel raised lifted his index finger to point at her, the rage burning beneath his eyes palpable. “This should be the last time you call her a slut.” He warned.

“Axel, open your eyes. She doesn’t love you.” She placed her hand on his shoulder and he yanked it off. She sighed and continued. “She’s just after your money.”

“No she’s not.” He pressed his lips together. “Can you leave now? I have work to do.”

“Look at her. Look at what she’s wearing.” Chloe flicked her gaze at Reese before returning it to
