Asher’s POV

Ive been banging on her door but she wasn’t answering but I knew she was there, behind the damn door and she wasn’t opening the door.

“I swear to God. I will break down your door if you don’t open the damn door. I just want to talk goddamnit.” I said. I was frustrated, and I couldn’t help myself.

If May didn’t open the damn door in the next… she pulled the door open a notch, looking innocently at me. “What’s this about, Asher? Why are you trying to break my door?” she asked me.

“I want to talk to you about what happened in Love Castle, May,” I said, raking my hand through my hair in desperation, hoping she gave me the time of the day.

She furrowed her brows and her expression clearly stated she was confused about what I could want to talk to her about, and what happened.

So it was going to be like this, huh? I asked myself, almost laughing at the look on her face.
