May’s POV

I was still thinking about it at the background of my mind, something I had seen that I didn’t think much more of before, or that I could remember now.

“You should go home, baby!” I heard Asher say and I rolled my eyes as I looked at her.

I was the only one that was left here. His parents and best friend had just left a while ago, and Emily said she would be coming soon. But I wasn’t going to leave Asher alone just because he said so.

“I’m not going anywhere, Ash. Stop trying to run me off.” I said, rolling my eyes at him as I sat down beside him. I had been sitting on the small chair pushed up against the wall before, but now I was sitting next to him.

“You look all tired, and worn out. You can’t wear yourself out because of me, baby.” He said and I beat his arm playfully.
