The living room was dark, except for the flickering light of the television. James sat on the couch, eyes glued to the screen as he watched the morning news. This was his routine everyday, he'd wake early to come sit alone in the living room.

It used to remind him of his parents. But today, he could only think of Lorraine; the softness of her silky hair when he ran his hands through; the cool serenity in her eyes; the texture of her lips, the way her body fitted into his aa though he was a padlock and she was the key. The thoughts of this only, swelled unnamed feelings inside him.
