Tension

Cadel's POV:

The tension in the dungeon was clear as day as Carson extended his claws, a warning to the elder, Ross. I stepped forward, attempting to diffuse the situation.

"Carson, we need him to report back to Zeus," I stated firmly, gesturing for him to retract his claws.

Carson hesitated for a moment before retracting his claws. The guards restrained Ross, preventing any further attempts to resist.

"Now, let's proceed with our plan. Arnold, your father's unwillingness to surrender has left us with no option," I explained, keeping my tone steady.

Arnold sighed, seemingly resigned to his fate. "Are you trying to talk me into my death? Just get it over with."

"In about a minute," I assured him.

Cameroon chimed in, "Your father pushed us to this point. We aimed to avoid bloodshed, but if your death is the only way to grab his attention, then so be it."

A guard opened the cell, retrieved Arnold, and we moved outside the dungeon.

Carson proposed, "Let's not make it dull—give him a fig
