Chapter 19

The sound of metal scraping on metal got me to open my eyes and see Hera standing by a window. She looked out of the window longingly like she always did. She was missing her son who still didn't return. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you, Luna. But the room was cold it could have used some sunlight," she said turning to face me hiding all traces of sadness.

"What happened?" I asked sitting up in my bed clutching my head. I felt different. I could see differently. Things were much brighter. I could smell better and the smells were overpowering each other. I could hear the sound of Hera's beating heart and I could hear everyone's talking as well as heartbeats downstairs.

I brought my hands up and covered my ears but then I heard the sound of Creed's voice. "I don't know Liam," he sounded scared. "I can't explain why I did that to her."
