Chapter 18

Hera looked nervous as she observed Creed from outside the infirmary. Careful for him not to see her, she stood by the door and peeped at him like a frightened child. The hold he had on this wolf pack still amazed me. They would do anything for Creed yet he hated them and wanted nothing to do with them.

He had ordered that none of them come near him and they obeyed and stayed out of the room claiming it was a direct order from their Alpha and they had already disrespected him.

I on the other hand didn't care what Mr. Grumpy pants had to say. He wasn't my alpha so I stayed by his side though he snarled, grunted, and growled at my presence. My skin had gotten thick around him and I was used to the hostile silence we shared.

It was better than talking to each other because we would end up arguing. He refused to see anything from anyone else's perspective and that infuriated me.
