Chapter 35

Madison lay quietly on the bed, watching Liam's peaceful face while he slept. She sighed, standing up and making her way to the bathroom.

She felt weak and tired from the numerous rounds they just had and she wished for more sleep, but sleep eluded her.

She stared at her reflection in the mirror as he thoughts drifted away to all the things Liam had told her some hours ago. She gave it a long, hard thought and each time, a tiny part of her still yearned to give Julian listening ears.

How could he? She kept asking herself that question. She broke down in tears, letting out all the hurt she felt. "How could he?" She muttered, clutching her chest tightly as she let tears flow down her cheeks.

The thought of Julian abandoning her after using her was painful. The thought of him having someone else but still used her and took away her most-priced possession - her virginity - was too painful to bear. She had thought she'd giving it to someone worthy of it but she was wrong after all.
