HE REALLY IS A MONSTER

Emily finally arrived home with her mom, who covered her shoulders with her jacket. She was still shivering, and her mom led her straight into the room. She curled her body, leaned on her bed, and cried her heart out.

Her mom sat beside her, stroking her hair.

"It's going to be alright, I promise you. It's going to be alright," she comforted.

After a while, her mom called the doctor and informed him that Emily's state was really bad and she needed him to check on her.

The doctor quickly arrived and after examining her, he said that Emily was in good health. She was okay and had been well-fed. The only thing was that she seemed to have been traumatized or frightened by something and needed therapy. But for the time being, he gave her some medicine to help her sleep. She needed all the rest she could get.

After Emily was put to sleep, her mom called Sally and shared the good news about Emily's return.

Sally screamed on the phone, "What happened? Did the monster decide to let her go?"
