Throughout his meeting, Daniel could not stop thinking about Emily. People from other mafia gangs were present at the meeting. Many things were said, but Daniel wasn't listening; he was lost in thoughts about Emily.

"What do you think about what we've said so far?" One of the leaders asked Daniel.

Daniel jerked upon realizing that a question had been thrown at him. "Oh, I... ehm... I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. Please ask again."

When the question was repeated, he seemed to miss it a second time as his mind wasn't fixed on the meeting. Placing his hand on his forehead, he apologized, saying, "I'm so sorry, but my mind isn't here. Something urgent and important has just come up, which I must deal with. Can we reschedule the meeting for tomorrow?"

They all agreed to reschedule the meeting, and Daniel immediately stood up and left.
