Two days have passed, and I haven't heard from Jessica. I ended up going home after I visited Connor's office to retrieve some boring documents. He had to sort out a lot of other things, so I decided to leave him alone. But I made sure I gave him a long, lingering kiss to show him what he would be missing out on.
Mom and Dad invited all of us for dinner. Including Connor, since we were engaged. I can't believe I am saying this. Being engaged to Connor Williams was the last thing I expected to happen.
