“So you’re telling me now that Janiya’s father and Janiya have been planning against me, and you know of it all this while?”

“I was trying to gather more information, your highness.”

Eric replied as he bowed.

Ronan scoffed out, not wanting to believe his ears. Maybe Lena was right after all, and he couldn’t trust these people as they call themselves.

“I don’t believe you.” He said with a note of finality.

“Ronan, I won’t lie to you. You have to be very careful. If you don’t trust me because of what I told you, you can place your watch on them. But mind you, Janiya’s father is more snaky than Janiya.”

“So what’s the aim? Enlighten me here.” Ronan said, crossing his legs and staring at Eric.

They were both in his study, the door closed and different paperworks scattered on the table.

“Janiya has her eyes on you.” Eric started, scoffing out after. “I don’t know what you have that I don’t. But she has her eyes on you, and she won’t stop at all until she gets what she wants.”
