Stacey rushed into her room, slamming the door shut and rushing to the bathroom. She rushed back out when she remembered that she didn’t bolt it at the back. After doing that, she bolted the secret door too before rushing back to the bathroom.

She didn’t bother to take off her clothes as she sat in the bathtub. It was not until she was swaying down that her heart rate slowed, making her calm down.

What was that memory all about? Has she been lying to everyone all around and her parents treated her well at some part in her life? Did she lie about everything and she was at fault?

“You have to calm down.” Freya mindlinked her.

“I can’t! I can’t!” She yelled out.

“I just discovered that I laughed genuinely at one part of my life. I did things that made me happy at a point in my life. And you’re telling me to calm down.”

“If you were so happy about it, why did you forget? Why wasn’t it a memory that you did not want to let go?” Freya said to her.
