CANADA

Arriving at one of the most famous malls in the city, a car stopped in front of the sliding crystal door. From the car a woman in her 30’s got off, and in her hand the little hand of a five-year-old.

The brown hair up, the black suit with the black heels. In her right arm the red bag that matched the sunglasses. Even her smooth makeup gave her that touch of mysteriousness she needed to confront to all people who had taken advantage from her. But of course, that day wasn’t going to be the one where she was going to appear in front of her husband and her dear sister, the one who also played her fool. Now, time had changed her. Now, she wasn’t the same fool. Now, three years had gone by and they hadn’t gone away in vain.

“Mom, why are we here?” Gadriel asked as soon as his little green eyes danced around.

Needless to say Gadriel felt bored by the idea of walking in that mall. Surely, there wasn’t going to be any fun around.
