CHAPTER 43

Walking up the stairs, Diego massaged the right corner of his lip, he was bleeding, his nose, lips and his right cheek was bleeding. It was still hard to think about what he had discovered. There was no way he could put up with that. Regret and remorse. That was all his heart felt.

When Diego was on the second floor of that big house, walking through the hallway, he ran into someone. Among all the people who could have seen that day, it had to be her.

Her eyes widened. Camilla, stuffed in a white towel, gasped at seeing Diego’s face bleeding.

Diego didn’t feel anything good for her. Seeing her like that, with her eyes showing the concern she never felt for him or for their daughter made him want to take that woman right there and put her on her kneels while confessing all the things she had done to be there and take away what was Cameron’s life.

He just simply hated her because she wasn’t Cameron. She was the real Camilla. But the stupid one had been him for not figuring it out earlie
