Chapter six: It is more than that.

I breathe shakily, as I stare at the golden eyes of the beast before me, gnarring his teeth and groaning.

I remained still on the floor as I listened to his bone cracks with disturbing sound.

I gasped loudly as the black furs turned into bare olive skin and the long claws crept back into nails.
