49 - Knowing one's fate

Naya was sitting by the window when the clouds began to gather and the air turned moist. Flashes of lightning could be seen, paired with drops of water that started to come down from the gray skies, painting a colder and harsher morning.

It was an unusual occurrence, as rain with the sun still present high above indicated something in this world. For a second, Naya’s thoughts of escaping halted as she sat still in silence, quite mesmerized by the rare sight before her.

But it didn’t take long for the peace to settle in as a sudden knock on the door was heard and she was pulled out of her reverie. Alert, Naya watched as the door opened.

Grizel appeared in an instant. But what surprised Naya the most was the person behind her.

Clad in a pristine white dress, Sana Azalea took off her hood and revealed her face. Then she moved forward, almost floating as she gracefully took steps towards Naya.
