51 - No mistake

The string of colors danced in the air before gradually dispersing, blending back into the living nature. The damp ground caused people's movements to trip between hurried strides and cautious steps as they moved forward and departed.

Naya stood frozen, her eyes wide as she stared at the unmoving woman on the ground. Despite the blood trickling from her lips, Sana Azalea lay with a peaceful expression, as if her mission had been fulfilled.

The rustling of bushes startled Naya. She turned and saw a familiar face.

Alpha Prince Kael stood silently, his gaze locked with hers under the early morning sun. Slowly, his eyes shifted to the lifeless Sana Azalea, noting the arrow still embedded in her chest.

Kael walked forward, observing Naya’s shocked expression, and nonchalantly knelt down. Without a word, he grabbed the arrow and pulled it out of Sana Azalea’s chest.

Naya finally reacted, snapping back to her senses. Anger flared in her eyes as she looked at Kael. “What are you doing?”
