53 - Descendant

Alpha Jake was a very simple leader. His priority was always the West Wood Pack, its safety and security. Since the outside events were no longer in his control, he refused to take part in them. Even when other packs reached out in hopes to join forces, he flatly rejected them. If there was one pack he could trust, that was the Crimson Stone Pack.

However, there was still a limit to the partnership between their pack to that biggest pack. For example, in terms of warfare talks, the majority of things would stay confidential. The resources they maintained were kept and would only be shared through trading. It was a give and take relationship, funded by the strong loyalty for each other. But in the end, one could only share a few things, not everything.

The reason for this was one could never fully trust people except their kin, because it was written in the books of life that tragedy exists when there was too much trust given to people who do not belong to the same pack or wasn’t one
