I was excited to see what Star had found. My father never did tell me much about his family. I would ask questions but he would avoid them or change the topic completely. My mother would always just tell me it was complicated. I had always been curious about the Lancaster name.

Star arrived about an hour after we got home. I was dying waiting for her to get here. My excitement and anticipation we're eating away at me. Charles was starting to get annoyed at my pacing.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I had to dig up some pretty old books" Star came in plopping down 3 large books and a couple of scrolls.
