“Is he angry?” asked Elsa, as she took long strides toward the court.

“You know him better,” Reth answered while walking with Elsa.

Elsa drew a breath and let out as she murmured, “And it scared me a lot sometimes, Ser Reth.”

“We've seen the worst, lady Elsa. And now we are grateful that you've come into his life,” said Reth. And it was the truth everyone believed.

Elsa didn’t answer him. She chose silence for the rest of the path.

In court, Iris’s mother had a joyful smile on her face and showed no fear toward the king. She made her move but failed and she had no regrets.

“The king wants to know who gave you the courage to attack the future queen, Lady Elsa,” questioned Gramson with a deep voice. The court was jammed with ministers, including Rihana, Johana, and Carl.

Surprisingly, Klaus was also present in the court and looked lethargic, drunk, and old. His eyes were on King Gabriel, who he could never be.
