"What is it you want to tell me about?" Camila asked while leading Ash across the room to the armchair.

"It's," he trailed, holding tears. "I missed you," she burst out laughing.

"You freak!" She yelled, throwing fists at him, "I almost had a heart attack."

"Oh, come on, babe," he grinned. "It's more like I got you."

Camila rolled her eyes, walking away from him. "Whatever Can you now take me home? I am tired."

"Whatever my lady wants." Ash winked, helped her pack her purse, and opened the door for him.

"It feels good that we now get to sleep soundly without the voices threatening to rip our lives off." Camila said this the moment she settled into the car.

"Yeah," Ash nodded while getting in the driver's seat. "It feels good. Now things seem as peaceful as they were when we were still living in the woods."

"Let's go back there sometime in the future. When all this is over and our son is born, She whispered, and Ash reached for her hands to squeeze them.
