A month later

Camilla stood in the shadows by the window, her back to the room, as she scanned her eyes around. She seemed lost in thought, her gaze distant and contemplative.

From her clear-view position on the fifth floor, where her office was located, she had a good view of what was happening in the busy town. She watched as people hurriedly went about their day, the hustle and bustle of the city streets captivating her attention.

The honking of car horns and the chatter of pedestrians below filled her ears, creating a symphony of urban life that both fascinated and overwhelmed her.

The day was almost ending with orange sun rays illuminating the whole place, making everything glow orange in color.

Everyone had started rushing all over the place, obviously going home. There was a group of school kids on the other side of the road who laughed gayly as they carefully crossed the road.

The sound of their laughter brought a smile to her face, reminding her of the carefree days of her own childhood. A
