Chapter 3

After leaving the Summers Residence, Dustin got into Mateo's car. "Head to Oceania."

As Mateo drove, he said, "Boss, I've arranged everything in Murica. Samuel Lonne is the head of our branch here. I've already informed him, and he'll be at your service from now on. He'll arrive in Oceania from Capital City in a few days."

After a pause, Mateo continued, "Also, Tygan Donald, the leader of one of Oceania's top underworld organizations, Tygan Gang, is aware of your arrival. He's on standby 24/7 to help you."

Dustin nodded. "Good." He did not say more but gazed out of the car window at the luminous moon in the night sky. A rare gentleness flickered in his eyes. "Rosalie, I'm back. You've suffered so much over the years. From now on, I won't let anyone bully you or look down on you. I'll make you happy every day, show you the finest in the world, and make you the happiest woman."

Six years ago, Dustin was betrayed and hunted down by Lillian. Due to his loyal bodyguard's sacrifice, he narrowly escaped and fled to Oceania from Capital City. Severely injured, he ran into his university classmate, Rosalie Simmons, who saved him and took good care of him. The couple who had feelings for each other confirmed their relationship after he recovered. Eventually, Rosalie married him against her family's wishes.

Determined to give Rosalie a good life and reclaim what was his, Dustin left for overseas to work three months after their wedding. After six years, he finally established Vulcan Group, which possessed the most advanced technology, the most wealth, and the most terrifying strength that could shake the world.

Now that he had become successful, it was time for him to return and let Rosalie enjoy life.

The next day at noon, Mateo drove Dustin to the front of the Simmons Residence in Oceania.

Dustin said, "Mateo, you can go back and rest now."

"Okay, Boss."

Dustin got out of the car, looked up at the Simmons Residence's iron gates, and murmured to himself, "They've replaced it with a fully automated gate with an alarm system. The Simmons family seems to have lived a good life these past few years."

He was somewhat resentful of the Simmons family because they had looked down on him and constantly bullied Rosalie. However, for Rosalie's sake, he would not trouble the Simmons family for now.

"Mrs. Golgan, Queenie is sorry. Please don't hit me anymore." A little girl's heart-wrenching cry came from inside the mansion.

Dustin frowned. The thing he detested the most was people hitting children. Without any hesitation, he leaped over the Simmons family's wall using Light Body Technique and jumped into the courtyard.

Soon, he saw a somewhat thin six-year-old girl crying and running in panic toward the iron gates. Behind her was a chubby woman in her 50s, holding a small tree branch that looked like a cane. Hitting someone with such a thing would hurt terribly.

"You little brat, don't run," Maryanne Golgan shouted while chasing and waving the tree branch non-stop.

The girl's face, arms, and thighs were covered in red marks, clearly having been hit numerous times.

Dustin instantly became angry. He wondered what deep grudge Maryanne had against the girl that made her so cruel to the girl.

Suddenly, he noticed that the girl looked very similar to Rosalie. His breathing paused, and he murmured to himself excitedly, "She just called herself Queenie. Could she be my biological daughter?"

Before leaving, Dustin and Rosalie had agreed on their future children's names. If they had a boy, he would be named Charles Summers; if they had a girl, she would be named Queenie Summers.

Queenie accidentally fell to the ground because she was running too fast.

Maryanne stopped and took a few deep breaths before slowly approaching with a snigger. "Let's see where you can run now. You're just like your mom, so lowly that you want people to beat you."

Queenie loudly retorted, "My mom isn't lowly."

A flash of anger crossed Maryanne's eyes. "Your mom married a worthless loser. If that's not lowly, what is?" She said as she rushed forward and swung the branch down hard on Queenie.

"Don't hit me." Queenie curled up into a ball, trembling uncontrollably.

"Stop!" Dustin could not take it anymore and yelled. He was now 99.99% certain that Queenie was his biological daughter and was full of fury. It was infuriating that a mere housekeeper of the Simmons family dared to abuse his daughter.

Startled, Maryanne stopped her attack and looked up toward the iron gates.

However, when Maryanne saw that Dustin was just a young man in his 20s, she quickly calmed down and glared at him, saying, "Who are you? Do you know who I am? How dare you shout at me in Simmons Residence? Do you have a death wish?" She assumed Dustin was a new housekeeper in Simmons Residence.

Dustin walked over and asked icily, "What did Queenie do wrong for you to beat her so severely?"

Maryanne answered with a cold snort, "This little brat wets her pants every day. She won't learn if she isn't beaten."

Dustin said, "Queenie is only six years old. Isn't it normal for her to wet her pants? Does she deserve such a severe beating?"

"Mister, I didn't wet my pants. I haven't drunk any water for three days," Queenie said.

Seeing Queenie's pale and chapped lips, Dustin felt a sharp pain in his heart, as if pierced by a needle. The thought of her depriving herself of water to avoid wetting her pants was heartbreaking. He could imagine how miserable Queenie had been all these years.

Dustin's eyes could not help but tear up. Since he could remember, he had never shed a tear, no matter how much he suffered or how terrifying the dangers he encountered. However, seeing what Queenie suffered, even a tough man like him could not help crying.

"You monster!" Dustin roared as he rushed forward, delivering a powerful kick to Maryanne's abdomen.

Maryanne screamed and was sent flying five paces away.

Queenie stood up, clapping happily and complimenting, "Well done, Mister!"

Ignoring Maryanne, Dustin crouched down and hugged Queenie tightly. He said remorsefully, "Queenie, I'm sorry I'm late. You suffered so much."

Queenie was overjoyed as she asked, "Mister, are you my dad?" She had always wished for a father who could protect herself and her mother. She was glad to know that Dustin, who helped her defeat the mean woman, was her father.

Dustin nodded and replied, "That's right, Queenie. I'm back, and I won't let anyone bully you anymore."

Struggling with pain, Maryanne managed to climb to her feet and asked with shock, "Are you that loser, Dustin Summers?"

Dustin stood up, holding Queenie. He glared expressionlessly at Maryanne. "You're just a housekeeper. How dare you abuse my precious daughter? It's unforgivable."

Maryanne regained some composure and looked disdainful, "Dustin, you're just a loser. How dare you act arrogantly in front of me? Do you know who I am? I'm with Ms. Melissa Simmons. How dare you kick me? She won't spare you."

However, Dustin appeared like a ghost in front of her with Queenie in his arms and slapped her hard as soon as she finished speaking.

Caught off guard, she was hit directly. Her cheek immediately swelled and reddened, resembling a big red balloon. She screamed and fell to the ground.

"Do you believe I'll kill you right now?" A chill flickered in Dustin's eyes.

Sensing Dustin's killing intent, Maryanne trembled uncontrollably.

"What did Queenie do to offend you? Why abuse her like this?" Dustin asked coldly.

Maryanne's voice trembled as she defended herself. "She wets her pants every day."

Queenie retorted, "I didn't wet my pants."

Dustin looked at Queenie's pants, which were indeed a little damp but did not smell of urine at all. It only seemed to be wet. He instantly understood what was going on. Maryanne saw that Queenie did not wet her pants, so she wet it with water to find an excuse to abuse her.

The realization ignited Dustin's anger, making him emit an intense killing aura. He had never felt such a strong urge to kill before.

At that moment, anywhere within a hundred paces felt like hell itself.
