CHAPTER FORTY ONE.

The time was already past eight when Audrey slowly opened her eyes and yawned a little, she could still feel the headache throbbing. The pills from the night before didn’t help much but before she could even climb out of bed, memories of what happened earlier became fresh in her mind and she shivered down to her spine. Not only did Nathan call Jakes but he was also asking about the name “Audrey” this was more of a disaster than she thought, how did things become so complicated?

She was still in her train of thoughts when the door pushed open and Mrs Hernandez entered with a cup of tea.

“I see you are already awake” she walked over to the bed and handed her the cup of tea, “how do you feel?”

“This is a disaster” Audrey mumbled, “we are in deep trouble”

“What do you mean?” Louisa was not sure what happened, “did something happen?”

“Nathan kept asking me who Audrey is and he even called my friend”
