An Excuse

ATHENA’S POV

I looked at him to ask him what he meant by that, but the sudden aura I felt, made me wonder if he wanted to hear anything from me or not. But I still wanted to ask to clarify things.

“Don’t ask me any questions, Athena. I think you should focus on what to say when you get back home.” He said as he made a few metal clanking noises.

Right there, I recalled that I hadn’t said anything to Alpha Jeremy, and the driver would probably have been waiting for me for a long while now. Then I felt the old man’s hand, holding mine again, and I felt it that we were back to the sitting room.

These are the disadvantages of me, being blind. How could I not see whatever happened? I was so curious, but I knew no one would tell me. Even Daniel would definitely keep it a secret, or perhaps he doesn’t know about it.

Things like this could be comfortably made known to the blind, because they can’t see, and secrets leaking would therefore not happen.
