Jared sat down, looking around the kitchen he had seen a handful of times. It was tastefully decorated, blending with the yellow wallpapers and the polished wood cupboards. He knew Cynthia was responsible for decorating most parts of the house if not all and he considered asking her to decorate his living room and dining area. He had arrived last night to tell her he hadn't been able to find Tom when he saw her laughing with her daughter and her daughter's fiance.

He had decided to leave her be since she looked happier than he left her that morning.
