Chapter 33: You Are Not My Hero

Nadia as Nikki’s POV

I waited patiently on the

beach, waiting for Vimal. After a long pep talk to my reflection in the mirror,

I braced up to open up to Vimal about how I felt about him. When I called him for us

to meet up, he said he had a surprise for me too. I wonder what it is. After

some minutes of waiting, he finally showed up. He walked up to me and the

happiness that washed over me was indescribable. I hugged him as usual, beaming

with smiles.

“I thought you wouldn’t

show up again,” I expressed.

“Why wouldn’t I? Sorry

for the delay, I was stuck with something,” he replied. I swallowed my spit and

took hold of his hands. I inhaled deeply, staring into his charming deep blue

eyes.

“I want to tell you

something, Vimal,” I said.

“Okay, what is it?” he

asked.

“I… I know this…”

“Shit!” he cuts in. “My

present is waiting, Nikki. Close your eyes for a minute,” he instructed. I
