Chapter 34: Reporters? Oh No!

industry. I embraced myself and entered, pretending that nothing happened. I

squared my shoulders and I walked with confidence till I was forced to dwindle

by the set of people who flooded my front. Reporters. My eyes narrowed, staring

at them with everyone just throwing out their questions at my face. I was

confused till they stopped chattering into my ears and allowed one of them to

ask her question first.

“What happened on the

stage yesterday, Miss Nadia?” she asked, bringing her recording mic close to my

face.

“Tell us, Miss Nadia, why

did you scuttle off?” another question set in before I could even open my

mouth. I was confused. It seemed they were demanding something and if I

didn’t give it, something bad might happen. I was scared.

“She has nothing to say,”

a baritone voice hit my ears and as I looked to my side, I met eyes with Sidd.
