What was I expecting? She was incapable of change. I thought we were at a good place and I thought she was really sorry. She didn’t even wait for me to settle down before coming at me.

My lips parted and I blinked. “Disgrace you how?” I dropped my bag on the couch and stood opposite her.

I sighed and slumped on the couch. I didn’t have anything to say to her. I knew what she was going to say next.
