RUBY'S POV.

Watching Steyn bicker was sweet and by the time we were done shopping I was over excited that I thought I would die from it.

It was worth it. I thought, recalling to memory all that had happened yesterday after I got home.

Nana had rushed over to me, whining and smiling sadly.

"How are you, fairest of all Rubies." She'd asked tagging behind me as I made way into my room.

I rolled my eyes, trying to recall The number of times I had told her to not call me that. It sounded so ancient and cliche.

"Don't call me that, Nana." I smiled faintly. "I'm good, I just need to rest. I'll be alright."

"You look so pale." She observed, placing a hand on my forehead. "You're right. You should rest. But don't you need anything to eat or drink?"

"I'm fine Nana. Hunger is the least of my worries right now." I replied, raising my feets off the floor to lie properly on the bed. "My brothers, are they still around?"

"Certainly." She replied, covering my legs properly with the duvet. "They wou
