Married New York's Richest Billionaire

"Anna, I'm waiting for your answer." Richard looked at Anna expectantly.

Anna nodded. "Yes, Mr. Richard. I will marry you," Anna replied.

A small smile appeared on Richard's lips.

"So, when are we going to get married?"

"How about next week?" Richard asked back.

"Next week? Isn't that too soon?"

Richard shook his head. "No, it's not. The sooner, the better. Don't you want those who hurt you to feel remorse right away?"

That was true.

Anna couldn't wait to see the regret faces of the traitors.

"You're right. Next week is the perfect time." A sweet smile played on Anna's lips.

Richard smiled. "But first, I want you to meet my grandfather."

"Does your grandfather know I am Jason's ex-wife?"

"No, he didn't. He attended no important events in Jason's family. So he has never seen your face."

Richard's answer made Anna worry. What if one day, Richard's grandfather found out that Richard was married to his nephew's ex-wife?

Would Richard's grandfather throw Anna out of the house like her mother-in-law?

Richard could read the fear on Anna's face. "Do not worry! My grandfather is very kind. He won't make a big deal out of it. What matters to him is my happiness," Richard said as if answering Anna's question.

Anna smiled a little after hearing Richard's words.

Richard drove Anna to his grandfather's house in his luxury car.

Anna gasped at the sight of a luxurious house with a huge yard.

White paint dominated the house, with sturdy pillars supporting the front.

Richard's car pulled up in the front yard. Richard invited Anna into the house.

Arriving at the door of the upstairs room, Richard entered and found an old man sitting in a wheelchair. Anna was waiting in the doorway.

"Good afternoon, Grandpa," Richard called to the old man.

The old man was Mike Anderson, Richard's grandfather.

But Mike did not look at Richard. His eyes remained fixed on the window overlooking the backyard.

"I told you not to come to my house without bringing your future wife," came the curt reply.

Richard gave a small smile. "That's why I came today. I brought my future wife, I'm going to introduce to Grandpa."

Hearing this, Mike turned around in his wheelchair and looked at Richard.

Mike's eyes went wide when he saw Anna standing in the doorway.

"Richard, who is this beautiful woman?" asked Mike with an enthusiastic look on his face.

Richard put his arm around Anna and brought her closer to Mike. "Grandpa, this is Anna. My future wife."

"Oh my God, there's finally a woman who has conquered the heart of my stupid grandson," Mike said, making Richard roll his eyes.

Meanwhile, Anna chuckled.

"So your name is Anna? Your name is beautiful, just like your face."

"Thank you, Grandpa."

"May I ask how you met Richard?"

"We know each other because originally..." Anna's speech stopped. Her eyes shifted to Richard, who was standing next to her.

"Anna and I met by chance at my friend's company. Anna works there." Fortunately, Richard immediately followed Anna's words.

"It is very romantic. But after the marriage, don't let Anna work. Even if Anna wants to work, she should work in her husband's company."

"Yes, Grandpa," Richard replied.

A small smile appeared on Anna's lips.

Although she had only met Mike once, Anna could already feel the old man's warmth.

Mike's demeanor differed from Lea, when Jason first introduced her to his biological mother.

"Have you set a wedding date? Grandpa wants the wedding as soon as possible. Never put off a good thing."

"We're getting married next week."

"That's great! Then what are you waiting for? You should start getting ready for the wedding now. Grandpa will show Anna around the house and introduce her to the servants." Mike instructed Richard.

"Looks like Grandpa's getting healthier."

Mike nodded quickly. "Of course. My grandson is getting married. I need to be healthy and happy."

"Come on, Anna! Let your future husband organize everything! I'll show you around the house," Mike invited Anna.

Anna smiled and nodded. Then, a nurse came and pushed Mike's wheelchair from behind. Anna walked beside him.

Richard, still standing where he was, smiled slightly.

"That's the first time I've ever seen my grandfather smile like that," he murmured happily.

Richard and Anna's wedding was today.

Anna did not know that Richard would give her such a lavish wedding reception.

However, Richard deliberately did not invite Jason's family and did not inform the media about the wedding.

"Congratulations, Mr. Richard Anderson, and Ms. Anna Alexandra. You are now officially husband and wife. Mr. Richard may now kiss his wife."

Hearing this, Richard and Anna looked at each other. They stood before the altar in their wedding clothes.

Meanwhile, Mike watched his granddaughter's wedding with a happy face.

Richard's hand touched Anna's cheek, and then Richard looked down and kissed Anna on the lips.

Anna thought that after the wedding, Richard would invite her to live with his grandfather.

But Anna was wrong.

In his luxury car, Richard took Anna to a house that was much more luxurious and larger than his grandfather's.

And the house belonged to Richard.

"Welcome to our home, Mrs. Annastasya Anderson," Richard said.

Anna couldn't stop her amazement when she saw the luxurious house. All the interiors and furniture were expensive and stylish.

"Mr. Richard..."

"No. Stop calling me Mr. Richard now that we are husband and wife. Just call me by my name."

Anna nodded. "Okay. Richard, where is my room?"

Anna's question raised one of Richard's eyebrows.

"You mean our room?" asked Richard.

Anna bit her lip. She had just asked a stupid question.

Now that they were officially husband and wife. But, Anna asked about her room.

"Sorry."

"That's okay, Anna. I know this is too much for you. In that case, you can have the guest room, while I'll sleep in my room," Richard said.

Anna agreed and headed for her room.

"Anna, I'm going to the diamond auction tomorrow. There is an exclusive diamond necklace up for bid. Would you like to come?" Richard asked Anna.

"Sorry, Richard. I'm not used to being in a place like that. I don't think I'll be coming."

"Are you sure? Although it would be great if you came with me because Jason and Dianne will be there." Richard gave Anna a meaningful smile.

Jason and Dianne are coming to the auction? Anna's mind imagined something, then her lips returned to Richard's smile.

"Okay, Richard. I'll go to the auction with you," Anna finally said. She would be a great surprise for Jason and Dianne.
