Chapter 52 - Bringing back the weapons

“Stand down, Gabriel.” Linnea said and held out a hand to him.

Olivia pushed past him and glared at me.

“I took care of your mate during her heat because your useless ass didn’t accept her right away and this is how you thank me?” She mocked and raised an eyebrow. “By accusing me of things I didn’t do?”

I gestured with my hand to the building behind her.

“Isn’t this your clan?” I said.

“Olivia wasn’t part of the operation to retrieve the weapons.” The queen replied calmly. “I’d suggest you calm down.”

Linnea’s grip on my arm hardened and I looked at her to see her glare at me in warning.

“You promised.” She hissed.

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

“Let’s just get the weapons and get out of here.” I muttered.

“Open the gate.” The queen instructed and Malik unlocked it to let us through.

The queen pointed to the shed next to the house.

“The weapons are in there.” She said. “You may leave with them now.”
