PART TWO: CHAPTER TWENTY TWO
As the Beta tilted his head to the other side while his fingers continued to provocatively rake her hair, Zara found herself leaning into their demanding lip-lock some more.
When his hand pulled her closer and closer to his body, Zara found herself moving sensually. It was as though her lower body suddenly had a brain of its own.
The way she ground against him made her feel good. And she wanted more of that new yet thrilling feeling.
Suddenly, the kiss came to an end.
Zaramanni let out soft gasps when Zoey held both sides of her face and looked into her eyes dearly.
“I have always imagined this moment. Where I have you in my arms, where I get to know what you feel against my body, where,” his chin went on to rest on the top of her head and he rubbed his jawline against her hair like a pet acting cozy with its owner, “I get to teach you what a man’s touch can do.”

When Darren came to, he found himself on the cold, aesthetic ground that made his room look majestic. His body had formed into a round ball and he found it somewhat hard to straighten his figure. Once his entire body was now lying straight, the man who had the side of his face staying glued to the floor made an effort to get up. Both of his hands went to work, trying to lift the rest of his body, their palms steadily glued against the ground. But his bones felt feeble and he took a pause. Alpha Darren then recalled the last time he was conscious. He remembered how his beast forced its way out with a certain intent. Frightened by the thought of not knowing the things that happened after they jumped out of the palace, King Darren quickly left his pitiful position. Standing upright, and more alert, he scanned the room he was in. “You really don’t remember?” Zara’s voice trailed Lord Elias whose footsteps advanced towards the library faster than hers. “Really?”“I have no idea what you are talking about.
