Dante turned his head on a swivel in the obscurity, even though he knew he was still asleep. “Why do you do this to me every night, Theo! Do you enjoy torturing me?” Dante spat the words into the darkness and was only answered by the forlorn echo of a pathetic whimper as Theron’s vast body sulked into view. The normally large majestic beast now looked ragged and old, his head hung low between his shoulders and the wolf walked with such an exaggerated bow in his back that his knuckles drug the ground like lifeless attachments, “you torture us all, ignorant boy.” Dante scowl
