      Blaire looked around, she knew she had to be very conscious of her surrounding at this point. She also knew that this place was probably very dangerous and this could be a trap. Blaire knew coming here could end her up in two ways — dead Or finally getting to the bottom of this unraveled mystery.   “Who's there?” She whispered harshly as she turned around. She had felt the presence of someone else and heard the sound of faint footsteps — They were close.   Blaire tried to squint through the darkness in front of her, but of course, that didn't work well considering it was nighttime and the whole street seemed isolated. It was more than clear that if this was indeed a trap, Blaire was in danger. The sun hit Aramide's skin as she walked out of the airport with her traveling bag in her left hand. The Afro-haired woman sighed as she breathed the air of London.  Nostalgia hit her in waves, She took a few minutes to access her environment, Everything seemed fine. Angel wiped away his tears furiously as sobs racked through his body. He was currently walking down the street. In the heat of the argument between his parents, they had failed to notice he had left the house.    He could barely see through his tear-filled eyes, The ten-year-old was confused and in dire need of comfort. But he didn't want to go back to his home. It was too loud.     He wondered why his mommy didn't like him, he didn't like her too though, she was mean and was friends with Rick, Rick was a meanie, Rick was bad.    Aramide was dead silent. Her heart raced a mile a minute as she bit her lips, The night wasn't getting younger and her mind wasn't racing slower, even in the dark, Daniel could make out the shock written on her features, the way her long eyelashes were raised as confusion laced them before her gaze met his and their eyes locked.   Aramide looked between Daniel and the little boy again. The little boy that was currently staring at her with fear in his eyes, why was he scared? What did she do? She tried to reach for him but he pulled away from her and ran right into Daniel's arms. In reality, of all the things Aramide thought would hit her in the face —Meeting Cole's son was the last thing she thought would Occur, but now, they had crossed paths, And this boy, who looked frightened, full of fear and probably ran from home was Cole's son? She had never pictured Cole as the best father in the world, yes. but this... this was disturbing.

“Aramide—”   “Please don't say no” Aramide begged as their eyes locked. She looked at him through her wet eyelashes as she bit her lip, at this point, she was sure she was going to bleed. “I'm begging you, Cole,” She tried “If our past and our love, meant anything to you, then please, Please help our daughter” She begged.   Aramide hoped to everything she believed in that Cole would accept, Yes, she had to admit, she kept his daughter from him, she hid the truth from him for eight long years, but she didn't have a choice, if she had told Cole, the custody battle would have ensued and their daughter would have to stay in foster homes because the process always took a long time, her daughter was too fragile and precious for that.   She knew she was asking for too much. Yes she was the one who completely shattered their relationship a few years ago, but she had chosen herself back then, it had been best for everyone.

”We're here" Aramide informed the taxi driver. The car pulled to a halt and she got out. The moment her eyes met the hotel though she froze in her spot. Aramide didn't know whether it was all her emotions building up or it was just the sight of her daughter tied to those tubes, probably it was the heart machine and its annoying beeps. It was the only sign that her daughter was still on planet Earth. But the woman found herself breaking down all over again, Her Aracely — wasn't getting any better.       Aramide was clothed in the familiar hospital dress and scrubs, She held her daughter's hand and softly caressed the eight-year old's, nothing was worse than seeing your loved ones in a coma — Neither alive nor dead. In Aracely's case, the only thing keeping her alive was the oxygen mask currently draped over her tiny nose and lips.   The white walls never gave as much comfort as Aramide would prefer and the scent of antiseptics always hovered around her sensitive nostrils.
