Devon When I woke up the next morning, I instantly looked to make sure Emerald was still in bed with us. She was; her head was buried in my chest, and I could feel her breathing. Nate was plastered along her back with his arm around her waist. I let out a sigh and smiled at my kitten. I had been told that she was able to shift but seeing it firsthand was unexplainable partially. I wasn’t even scared when she shifted, but when that rogue lunged at her, I was terrified that she was going to be hurt.
