None of us was able to utter a single word for almost 30mins as silence filled the air.   "How is that possible, I mean how can you lose your powers all of sudden" Eddie said, placing one of his hands on his waist and the other hand for exhibiting his words as he couldn't figure out how Dave lost his power.   "I think he absorbed my power when he caught me," Dave said, sitting back on his bed, resting his back and placing his two hands at the back of his head.   "From one problem to another," Ella said, moving close to Dave.   "We have to find a way, let's tell your parents about it," Carson said walking out of the room to tell Dave's parents the news

Chapter-16 [Another Alpha]  Everybody has a little bit of the sun and moon in them. Everybody has a little bit of man, woman, and animal in them. Darks and lights in them. Chapter-18 [Sisters of darkness] The ground wouldn't stop slippery because of the rain. The cold weather took everyone into their quarters early. Funny enough, the moon still came out. People said whenever it rained and the moon still came out, it means the gods are happy. New York has been known to be a place of peace and harmony, back in those days. Now the city is in chaos as various deaths of the innocents' citizens have been recorded. No trail, no suspect, just corpses and the gods are happy. Something is wrong. New York has now become the home of strange things.  The heroes sat in the living room waiting for Susannah to come to explain her abrupt disappearance. A few minutes later, she came in and saw them sitting all together. The looks on their faces show she needed to start speaking up before they even questioned her. Your completeness must be understood by you and experienced in your thoughts as your reality. Although countless teachings instruct how to obtain enlightenment in a future life, almost all of them are nothing more than expedients, as the ultimate instruction there is simply no teaching that is superior to the true practice of the awakening to one’s nature.
