Talia's Pov.    I swallowed hard before stretching my fingers to ease the tension I am feeling inside.  I coughed and pressed my chest to stop myself from panicking.  There was a long way for me to succeed and this is the battle where I can use my power as the Crown Princess.  I need to gamble my advantage and lessen my disadvantage inside the door after this, the aristocrats meeting will be happened.  Aristocrats meeting where the table is the one controlling each of every seat of the highest to the lowest nobility.  When I felt that I'm already set, I formed a bright smile on my lips before opening the door.  The loud chatters from the nobles echoed the whole room, such a stupid sight.  My eyes landed on my father who was waving his hand, I waved back and smiled sincerely.  The nobles started to lower their chatters when they felt my presence until

Chapter 21
Betrayal is the most painful knife that could stab your heart for a million of times.  It is the most painful weapon that I am afraid of.  That feeling of breaking, in tears, and dying because of being betrayed. You will never have the chance to see the reason why you were betrayed because of how painful it is.  Especially when it's the person you trusted the most and yet... That person betrayed you.  I flipped the last page of the magazine before I raised my head on the person who just entered.  "Greetings your Highness," he greeted before he slightly bowed.  I offered him a seat before I closed the magazine and gave him a bright smile.  "It's been a while Duke Richmond," I said. "You've been busy for how many weeks your Highness, how's your plan?" he asked before sipping the tea I've prepared for him.  "Actually, the reason why I called because I wanted to

Chapter 22
Fara raised the umbrella on the sun's direction to avoid myself from getting hit by the sun's light. We walked through the path where the noble ladies are having a tea party. Hades invited these ladies for me to have a good time before the engagement party, but how can I have a good time? They're all stupid. I fanned myself while walking elegantly, wearing a fierce look while looking straight to the ladies creating a loud chatters at the garden. "Can you feel my body blazing annoyingly?" I asked."No your Highness, you're much more beautiful than them," she answered. I rolled my eyes with what she answered. I know that I'm beautiful but her answer was different from what I asked. When we arrived at the garden, I coughed in silent before I plastered a warm smile. "Good morning ladies," I greeted. All of their heads turn in my direction and immediately stood up before they b

Third Person's Pov.   A loud cry echoed the demise silent of the forest, the scream of pain, and the painful beg of the man trying to escape from the sword opening his abdomen. Blood came out from his mouth while his eyes were painfully begging on the man wearing a smirk on his face and mercilessly stabbing his abdomen repeatedly as if he's a meat to be feast. Until he can no longer be able to open his mouth, the pain keeps arousing until the death comes for him and died. The last moment of his life was a memory of a woman appeared on his eyes, that warmth feeling of the woman, smiling purely. Her eyes were vividly a beautiful image of an ocean scenery, the woman then turned around, she smiled purely and mouthed the words he couldn't let go. 'Phoenix, I love you.' Trevor was in deep darkness while his emotions were sunken in the middle of his chaotic mind.&nbs

Chapter 24
Third Person's pov.  The sound of droplets from the faucet hitting the sink was creating a terrifying sound of silent. She washed her mouth roughly using the water from the faucet, trying to take away the disgusting feeling of his lips lingering on her lips. The sensation is still visible, she couldn't even take away the smell of his saliva from her mouth. "Disgusting..." she whispered after closing the faucet. She raised her head and within the mirror was her reflection, her pair emerald eyes were like a venomous snake trying to find a prey. She tilt her head like a dog, examining her whole appearance and chuckled devilishly with the thought that she's really gorgeous. Her eyes blinked for a moment before covering her face using her hands. She messed up her hair and cussed in silent while gritting her teeth. "Monster," she whispered looking straight on her own reflec

Talia's pov.  "I love you," he whispered on my left ear with his warm breath lingering like a breeze from the cold wave of the ocean. I froze with my eyes, widely opened. "Trevor, are you drunk?" I asked while trying to defeat the awkward feeling in between our bodies. He chuckled before leaving my shoulder and raised his head, looking at me with pain on his pair eyes. "Am I drunk in your eyes master? Do I? Tell me, master, do I look stupid in your eyes?" He looks frustrated, it's unbearable to see him. He clenched his jaw and bit his lower lip when I didn't respond. "I'm sorry," I whispered. I thought that I can play him well when he's inside my palm yet the more I see it, the more it's unbearable to see how he's suffering because of love. "Master, am I not doing well?" His expression darkened and tears suddenly poured out from his pair eyes.

Chapter 26
I stood up within the center seat in front of the painting I designed myself with the help of the history book of Paradis Empire. The portrait was the image of the Imperial Crown facing towards the bloody sword, the scenery of blood dripping from the sword while lying on the elegant table. The Imperial Crown depicted in the painting is often suggested to signify the pursuit of empire. However it also represents the claim made by the Paradians that they were descended from the Paradise of Minoan, who was by legend descended from Fyudor Pedelian, the mythical founder and first king of Paradis. I glanced at the necklace I made from the old crest of Paradis Empire, the pendant of the lost Royal dynasty and compared it to the new crest which is from the Sylvestre. The blue and white royal rose was created by combining the emblem of the House of Sylvestre (the blue rose) with that of the House of Valerian (the white rose). T

"Bang..." I whispered. The loud gunshot echoed the whole Imperial hall, with the nobles's screams while trying to find a way to escape the gunshots. I glanced at the second floor where four men in black cape were shooting using their riffles. I remained seated while the knights surrounded us. Royalties doesn't need to run for their own lives because there are knights who can sacrifice their lives for the royalties. Ain't it funny? How these people sitting on their throne while watching the bloodshed in front of their eyes?I'm as dirty as them, but I'm more called as a diamond who was thrown in the garbage. I rest my chin on my palm while listening to their screams and the noise coming from the gunshots. Bloodshed, that's what I want. My eyes found Duke Richmond sitting comfortably on his seat while looking straight in my direction. He was

That silhouetted sound of my heels was creating a mystery of silent within the  four corners of the hallway. When I reached my room, I calmly opened the door and closed it coldly. The frozen emotions swelling up on my face was rather horrific to see when I'm imagining myself, looking at my own reflection. I took off my high heels and I undressed myself leaving only my naked body. I slowly entered the bathroom and turned on the faucet while leaving the whole bathroom unlit. I washed my face and as my eyes glanced at the mirror in front of me, I felt like I can only see an evil creature seeing her own malefic reflection.I'm becoming more evil as days passed. However, it doesn't justify that I became like this because I'm evil since I was born. I became evil because of them, those people who crushed my humanity together with my family. They pushed me unto the bottom until I can no lo

Chapter 29
I entered the trial hall with the higher nobles encircled around the aristocrats table. All of them were discussing their assumptions and thoughts about the incident.  I sat on the seat beside the Empress's chair, I guess she's not coming.  It's a shame that she didn't though, since it's going to be fun hearing the negative claims from the nobles. I glanced at Duke Lavescha who was looking at my direction before he nodded as I sign that he understands what I am pertaining using my eyes.  The Emperor entered and walked straight to his seat.  I guess he was really in bad mood because of what just happened.  "I Now declare to start the trial," he said and crossed his legs.  Each one of them has their own papers on their hands, I guess they all prepared a positive and negative reports.  "The alchemist who was assigned to investigate the evidence already produced
