Matteo POV FOUR DAYS AGO I am sitting in my office with my head between my hands as I take a deep breath after reading the reports of my last weapons sale, the Irish are trying to get us to change the price, and I don’t negotiate with terrorists. They have been attacking some of my guys, they say it is not them, but I know it is. And this will have to end. I hear someone knocking on the door, and I tell them to come in.  I have to say I wasn’t expecting Eliana to walk through the door, and she always avoided being around me. She said to Rio that my aura scares her, well good, like that she knows not to fuck up with me. “I am sorry for bothering you, but I need to talk to you”, Eliana says, and I nod my head, pointing at the chair opposite from mine on the other side of the desk. She closes the door behind her, walks towards the chair, and takes a seat. She looks at me, and she smiles.

Matteo POV I finish washing changing clothes and having a shower as soon as I came out of the basement, I couldn’t let Pedro live any longer, I made him as miserable as I could, he was tortured every day by my people, and he was starved and abused. They did to him everything he did to Avery and more, he was begging to die, but they knew better than to end his life. That was up to me. His eyes lit up when he saw me walking into his cell. He begged me to kill him faster and for once I agreed with him, a quick kill is what was needed here, he had become a problem in my house, Avery was getting agitated with Jane in the house and Pedro in the basement, so I had to finish him.  Baby Jane is officially our daughter from today, All the paperwork was approved and we can finally call her our daughter, Avery is so happy, happier than I have ever seen her. I can’t even believe this is happening, I thought this day would never come
