CONRI’S P.O.V After having his fill on the vampire king, Raven’s supposed father took us away and we appeared back in my pack. Raven  was clutched closer to me, never letting her go as if I was afraid she would disappear. I still could not believe she was back, that we got her back. Her body had stopped shaking, her wounds closed but the pain was still there. I was sure her body was mending itself and soon she would wake. How could I stare at her then? How could I look into her eyes knowing I failed her?
